Presentation at 11:45am – 12:45pm. Reflection from Burt Kanner- “In 2017, my teaching career of 58 years was coming to an end. That and other negative situations were leading me into a depression. My doctor advised antidepressant medications. I declined. I went to the 50+ Center, here in Salem, to look for something challenging and positive. I was taken to the “Write Your Life Story” group and found a new life spring. This presentation is about going on a new journey that had never been on my radar”.
