In this special two-class course, you will learn how to easily identify and appreciate the four styles of churches found throughout Germany from the Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, and the Baroque. In doing so, you will learn how these four art movements didn’t just represent differing building styles, but also mirrored the theological, historical, and intellectual outlooks of their eras in art history.
