It may surprise you to learn that there is am upside to distressing behaviors in individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease.
This seminar will give an overview of how to maintain day to day comfort for the person living with the disease and for her/his care partner, how to recognize the new behaviors and what to do when distressing behaviors surface.
Mary Miller is a Nurse Practitioner who has worked in Salem for the last 25 years. Her interest in the care of elders with dementia stated in her mid-20’s and she has been a speaker for Alzheimer’s Associations throughout the Portland and Salem area.
