City of Salem Concerts in the Park Presented by Salem's Grand Theatre and Rivercity Rock Star Academy will be coming to you this summer.
Join us on August 16th and September 13th at 6:00 PM
Music will be free for everyone, so bring your friends and family for a fun night at beautiful Riverfront Park.

RiverCity Royals
The RiverCity Royals Performance Group is an audition-only, skill and experience-based program designed for advanced students of RiverCity Rock Star Academy, ranging from ages 14 to 20. The Royals stand as ambassadors of musical achievement, showcasing the exceptional talent developed within the academy. With over 100 performances to their credit, they have opened for touring bands such as Radkey, Young Dubliners, and many more over the years and have performed at a variety of venues and events including festivals, community and private events, fundraisers, charity events, the Oregon State Fair, Marion County Fair, Rock The Libraries Tour, Portland Waterfront Blues Festival, Make Music Salem, First Fridays, Capitol Jam, The Oregon Historical Society, and many more. The Royals epitomize the success of RiverCity's educational philosophy. Many members of this prestigious group have gone on to form their own bands, secure college scholarships, and embark on professional music careers, highlighting the transformative impact of RiverCity's programs

Rondalla Sentimiento Latino
The Rondalla Sentimiento Latino (Guitar Ensemble) from Salem Oregon is a traditional, regional, romantic and popular music program that plays in a classical style music with only guitars. This program aims to promote a genre and a musical tradition that is used in Mexico as a cultural, traditional, and educational part of the Mexican culture. Rondallas in Mexico represent the romantic and popular folklore style in a classical way when interpreting music. The Rondalla are identified by the songs performed with a love poem, an inspirational message, or a feeling of disappointment in love. These groups are identified as being part of the tradition of serenades, mañanitas and lunadas. (Nights of gathering to sing songs).
