Demystifying Carbohydrates: Nov. 9th 11am-12pm
The amount and types of carbohydrates we should prioritize are hotly debated topics. In this class, we will explore the crucial role carbohydrates play in the body, discuss the best types of carbohydrates, and learn how to adjust carbohydrate intake based on individual health goals. We will also take a look at supplements designed to address nutrient gaps and promote a healthy blood sugar response when consuming carbohydrates.
Demystifying Protein : Dec. 14th 11am-12pm
You've probably heard about the importance of protein in your diet, but how much do you really know? In the class Demystifying Protein, we'll explore topics such as the ideal protein quantity for your individual needs, the best food sources for top-quality protein, and the diverse array of protein supplements available. Whether you're a fitness enthusiast or simply curious about optimizing your dietary habits, this class will equip you with insights to elevate your nutrition game.
Demystifying Fats: Jan. 10th 11am-12pm
Fats have been blamed for our declining health since the 1950s, but are they really the villains they’ve been made out to be? Discover why fats are essential to health and learn why nutrient-dense high fat foods should be part of a healthy diet. In addition, this class will highlight some of the latest research on fat as we untangle the truth and demystify fats.
Demystifying Micronutrients: Feb. 8th 11am-12pm
Micronutrients, including vitamins and minerals, are necessary for driving every biological process in the body, from energy production to immune function. In this class, we'll uncover what makes micronutrients so vital to our health, which micronutrients are essential (and commonly missing) from our diet, the best food sources, and the surprisingly easy ways to increase your daily intake.
