Serving Alcohol at a private event or community/public event
Alcohol may not be consumed or possessed unless it has been requested and approved in the Agreement for the Reservable Area.
Private Events: For example - family or workplace celebrations
Alcohol content must be 14 percent or less (no kegs or pony kegs), may only be consumed in reservable picnic areas, and must stay within 100 feet of the reserved area.
If alcohol is allowed and approved as part of the Agreement for the Reservable Area, additional fees apply. The permittee or organization hosting the event is required to have a copy of the approved application at the event.
Community/Public Events: Only held in Riverfront or Bush’s Pasture parks
Selling alcohol requires:

A Short-Term Concessionaire Permit

Certificate of Insurance

A copy of approved permits and licensing obtained through Oregon Liquor Control Commission (“OLCC”).
If alcohol is allowed and approved as part of the Agreement of Reservable Area, additional fees apply. The permittee or organization hosting the event is required to have copy of approved applications, permits, and licensing at the event.
Each City facility and park is different. Parks with reservable areas where alcohol may be requested as part of the Agreement of Reservable Area are: Bush's Pasture Park, Minto-Brown Island Park, Pringle Community Hall, River Road Park, Riverfront Park, and Woodmansee Park.
