Salem's Center 50+ now offers mobile wellness services. With the support from Mountain West Investments, Salem Health, United Way of the Mid-Willamette Valley, P3 Health Partners Oregon, and Home Instead Senior Care, Center 50+ now delivers socially distanced wellness services to area seniors.

Front porch visits from the Wellness on Wheels (WOW) Van include fitness, nutrition, mobility and wellness programming, activities, lifelong learning instruction, social check-ins, and technology tutoring. The WOW Van will be popping up throughout the community. Find out where we've been and where we're going.

Services Delivered from the WOW Van

• Assistance with accessing food resources
• Fitness and wellness programs, personal training, improving mobility, nutrition education and more
• Activities such as arts and crafts, brain health, puzzles, games, lifelong learning and more
• Fix-it Brigade, fall prevention and home safety inspections (currently restricted to outdoor projects)
• Friendly visitor (front door/front porch short visits-masks required)
• Technology tutoring (front door/front porch service)
• Birthday deliveries

We will continue to evaluate what other Center 50+ programs and activities could be incorporated into this outreach, check back often.

Qualifications

Adults 50 and older, who have limited access to programs, activities, and services and want to remain connected to others, qualify for a WOW Van visit.
